'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam'

Under the ongoing Zero Waste campaign at RCB, 620 saplings were planted in association with the Satyasai Foundation.
We continued our annual planting drive, which started last year with 2000 saplings in support of the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign.

Structural insights into pilus shaft formation & anchoring from vancomycin resistant enterococci

Vancomycin-resistant Enterococci (VRE) have emerged as a significant public health issue due to their ability to cause various nosocomial infections, including catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTIs). VRE employs endocarditis and biofilm-associated pili (Ebp) for adherence, which constitutes the initial step in biofilm formation.
