RCB regularly hosts school and college students, offering them an opportunity to tour the institute, interact with scientists and research scholars, and participate in hands-on experiments and activities. The goal is to spark curiosity in science and familiarise students with the ongoing research in the field of Biotechnology.

RCB serves as a knowledge partner for the Department of Science & Technology’s (DST) Vigyan Jyoti programme, which encourages meritorious girls to pursue education and careers in underrepresented areas of STEAM. As a knowledge partner, RCB hosts Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya girls (Standards IX–XII), providing them with exposure to cutting-edge research conducted at the institute
