Since the year 2020, the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) has entrusted Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), Faridabad as the Nodal Implementation Agency for management of key human resource development programmes through DBT-HRD Project & Management Unit (DBT HRD PMU). The seven programs managed through the DBT HRD PMU are:

2. Junior Research fellowship Programme (JRF)
3. Post-Graduate Teaching Programme (PG Program)
4. DBT Research Associateship (RA) Programme
5. DBT Biotech Industrial Training Programme (BITP)
6. DBT – TWAS Fellowship Programme (TWAS)
7. DBT Bio-Care Programme (Bio-Care)
